The Swagbucks Product

If you Facebook swagbucks they seem to have a large following. This is where I began my research on swagbucks. As usual though I joined so I could see if it was worth the time.

Swagbucks is a online company that rewards  you with virtual currency also known as Swag Bucks (SB) for short. Like many of the other websites similar to this you get a reward for completing tasks within the website.

There are many ways to earn your rewards at swagbucks. I will list just a few so you get the picture. You can search the web from their website, download the swagbucks search bar and use it as you default browser, download the button, Watch video’s, and of course take surveys. I just really scratched the surface. there seems to be many ways to earn SB once you’re a member.

Is Swagbucks A Scam

My answer is No, Swagbucks is not a scam. I want you to keep in mind that Swagbucks is not a viable means to earn a full time income online. Swagbucks is a fun site to earn some gift cards and get a little extra on the side.

Earning a full time income online is possible but this is not going to be the platform to help you Achieve that, if you are trainable and willing to put in some hard work I suggest taking a look at My #1 Recommendation.

My Final Overview and #1 Recommendation

Swag bucks is a pretty fun site, you can earn swag bucks fast with all the different ways they have to earn. I’m Heading over there as soon as I finish this review to play a couple games.Don’t worry I’ll finish the review first.

You just have to be realistic with your expectations with sites like this. It is time consuming for the amount of pay you get.

If you don’t have a lot of spare time this may not be for you. If you are interested in learning how I have all kinds of time I would seriously have you take a look at my #1 Recommendation. This is where I learned the ins and outs of my niche and after a few years of hard work Made money and enjoy my free time, The 2 things we never seem to have enough of.

Time is one of those things that once spent you never get it back, so spending your time to advance your future is definitely time well spent.

  • Team leader and owner at True Prosperity Online Scam Prevention Team. I have been involved in affiliate marketing for since 2014 and I love what I do. Especially Exposing Online Scams. I started my journey in 2011 and have fallen for my fair share of scams but that all changed in 2014 and now I Expose Scams to help others stay safe online....

  • When I built my first website, about 7 years ago now, I used to use swagbucks as a little money maker on the side (well only the video section).
I used to have a tab open on swagbucks and pop back there from my website every couple of minutes to change videos – used to pay for my hosting fees etc every week (a pretty decent little site!)

    • it isn’t bad but you have to keep realistic expectations. it is what it is just a few extra $$..

  • Very good review of swagbucks. I’ve heard of it before, but have always been reluctant to join. I just might give it a try now since I do a lot of the stuff you earn for on swagbucks so I might as well get something for it. I love the fact that you can redeem swagbucks for gift cards.

    • Thanks Brian, I feel if you keep your expectations realistic then A person could have some fun with this as well as earn some cool gift cards.

  • This site is a simple little opportunity if you want to earn a few bucks as you work on your website etc. I simply play the videos all day long – I also know a few students who do the same thing in college. You see you don’t actually have to watch the videos – just keep ’em running on a separate tab! An extra $10 a week or so to help with the marketing bills is always welcome (for NO work!)

    • It is good to earn a little extra money for minimal effort. I personally prefer affiliate marketing to make the majority of my income, but I would be stupid not to take advantage of the easy money I can get here. It’s not a lot but every little bit helps..

      Best Wishes Chris

  • This seems like something you’d have to spend a lot of time working on to get any real value out of. I am curious about what the conversion rate is. I am going to check out the website, but I’m thinking that Swagbucks probably isn’t for me. I appreciate your review of it. .

    • Hey Malia, Yes these kind of websites can be very time consuming. It’s cool to get a gift card every couple of months for performing some simple tasks but I definitely would not advise this as a way to earn a full time income online. I happen to have the luxury of having a good amount of spare time so I do it for a little extra. I personally take advantage of any opportunity I can to make a little extra money. You have to keep your expectations realistic with sites like this and not let it consume a lot of your valuable time. I just try to provide information to my readers when they request a review. In order to do that I have to sign up and give the company a fair and honest review. I work very hard to earn the trust of my readers and let them decide if a opportunity is right for them or not.

      Best Wishes

  • It’s funny how I just fell upon your website. I just joined Swagbucks today. After I joined, I wanted to see what others were saying about it. I mean, I don’t have anything to lose at this point as it was free to join. The only bad thing that I see is “time”. I think it may be very time consuming for what it can bring in. Thanks for the great review.

    • You bring up a very good point, time is something we never get back. This is why I also provide my readers with my #1 recommended online community which has allowed me to live a lifestyle I have always dreamed of. I hope you took the opportunity to read my Wealthy Affiliate review as this is the education I use to make a pretty decent income online.

      Thank You

  • Swagbucks is a great platform to make money in a fun way. Making money with Swagbucks or any other survey panels is definitely not advisable. I have tried and it is extremely time-consuming and rewards are often very little. I do think it is good for those who want to make some extra pocket money over the weekend.

The other problem is the SB points, one will never know how the conversion is done. It’s always confusing! Well, I am not sure if I am the only one here often encounter this – often get kicked out half way through the survey.

I have tried Swagbucks and I am not a big fan of Swagbucks at all. I have heard about Zoombucks, do you think it is better than SB? Should I try it out?

    • Hey Alex, To be honest with you I think most of these survey sites are all the same. As far as getting kicked out of a survey it does help if you complete a few of the profile surveys about your interests. This increases your chances of finding relevant surveys that you can complete. I also agree these sites can be very time consuming. I use them for a little extra cash simply because I have a little time to kill once in a while. I would never consider this as a way to earn a living online though. My #1 Recommendation is how I am able to actually make real money online. As far as Zoombucks, if you have the time and keep your expectations realistic then do it. If you don’t have the time to spend on it I wouldn’t bother.

      Best Wishes

  • 😆 great review about swag-bucks tbh I used to use it and i gave up because I was not getting any thing from it and I realized it wasting time so i gave up however its not a bad opportunity though and would you like to recommend it to college students?

    • Emmanuel, that’s funny I was thinking the same thing a few minutes ago. I’m not going to stop just yet though I just had back surgery and I’m bored. I figured why not earn some gift cards while I’m stuck in bed anyway. I think college students could have fun with this as long as they stay realistic with what to expect.

  • I find this site very informational. I hope many more site will florist so that those vultures will stop scamming more people. I like your style in helping people more power to you. Every opportunity should always be tried first before they charge you. I came across an opportunity that says once you have paid you can no longer refund your money, is that not a scam. Again thank so much for helping us meet our goals.

    • Piorello I don’t think I’ve seen every scam yet but I have encountered my fair share. Could you please let me know what company it is that will not refund your money. I would love to dig onto that one, These are the ones I like exposing the most. Please get back to me so I can check it out. jason@trueprosperityonline.com

      Thank You

  • Great job on writing a review like this. Love the way you write to your audience in a compelling and engaging manner which is of the utter importance. Cant stress that stuff enough. You just do it. How long have you been doing this now? Looks like you got some experience. Keep up the good work and ill check back later

    • Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment Maurice. Thank you also for your kind words. I don’t consider myself an expert but I am seasoned and have a few years of this under my belt. I Started doing this in 2011 1/13/11 to be exact and had to learn everything through personal experience. It has been quite a journey but I’m still around doing what I do.I’ve been up and I’ve been down but the only thing that matters is that I’m still around.

  • Awesome review on the Swagbucks program, well I was wondering how they the payment minimal withdrawal fee is for this program. I tried the ClixSense program and it turned out to be a waste of time. Can I rely on Swag Bucks to make a legitimate income source online? Which other programs do you recommend I use to make money online?

    • I wouldn’t rely on swagbucks to make a living online. Although I know it’s a legit company I also keep my expectations real. Swagbucks to me is just something to pass the time and earn a little extra while doing it. As always my #1 recommendation for anyone who is serious about starting a business online is Wealthy Affiliate. It’s the only one that has stepped up and put it’s money where its mouth is and the only company to date that has allowed me to earn a decent living.
